Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of myocdclinic.com and the telehealth psychiatric services provided by My OCD Clinic.

Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or scheduling an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Eligibility

My OCD Clinic provides services exclusively to adults aged 18 and older who are physically located in Florida or Massachusetts — the states where our providers hold active licenses — at the time of each appointment. You are responsible for confirming your physical location prior to every visit.

Description of Services

My OCD Clinic offers telehealth psychiatric services focused on OCD, including comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and coordination with licensed ERP therapists. All appointments are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant video.

Our services are provided by board-certified PMHNPs under the clinical leadership of Dr. Jessica Francois. Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice for your specific situation; a personalized evaluation with one of our providers is required before any diagnosis or treatment plan is established.

Not for Emergency Use

My OCD Clinic is a telehealth practice and cannot provide emergency services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or crisis, do not use our website or wait for an appointment.

If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, 24/7), text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line), or call 911. If you are in immediate danger, go to your nearest emergency room.

Appointments and Cancellations

Appointments may be booked online or by phone. New patients will receive digital intake forms to complete before their first visit.

  • We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling
  • Late cancellations and no-shows may incur a fee
  • We reserve the right to reschedule or decline an appointment if eligibility or licensure requirements are not met

Fees, Insurance, and Payment

We verify insurance eligibility and provide a cost estimate before your first appointment where possible. Copays and deductibles are collected at the time of service. Self-pay patients are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate under the No Surprises Act, which we provide automatically.

You are responsible for any charges not covered by your insurance plan, including for services determined to be out-of-network or not medically necessary by your payer.

Prescriptions and Controlled Substances

Our providers hold DEA registrations and comply with all federal and state regulations for telehealth prescribing, including controlled substances where clinically appropriate. Prescriptions are sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice following an appropriate evaluation.

Medication decisions are made at the clinical discretion of your provider and are not guaranteed by any information found on this website.

Patient Responsibilities

To help us provide safe and effective care, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your health history and current medications
  • Join telehealth visits from a private, quiet location within an approved state
  • Test your camera, microphone, and internet connection ahead of scheduled visits
  • Notify us promptly of any change in your location, insurance, or contact information
  • Follow your provider’s care plan and communicate openly about your progress

All content on myocdclinic.com, including text, graphics, and logos, is the property of My OCD Clinic and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute this content without our prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My OCD Clinic and its providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services, including technical failures of third-party telehealth or internet infrastructure outside our control.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability related to the standard of clinical care provided.

Termination of Care

Either you or your provider may choose to end the treatment relationship at any time. If we determine that we are no longer able to safely or appropriately meet your clinical needs, we will provide reasonable notice and, where appropriate, a referral to help you continue care elsewhere.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where otherwise required by the laws of the state in which you receive care.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were most recently revised. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
